Opera House Begins Work On First Major Renewal Project In Joan Sutherland Theatre
10.05.17The curtain will fall next week on the last performance in the Joan Sutherland Theatre for seven months as Laing O’Rourke prepares to start work on the first major Renewal project of the Sydney Opera House.
Laing O'Rourke has officially signed a contract with the Sydney Opera House for delivery of the first phase of the Renewal program with work to begin later this month.
Laing O'Rourke's Region Director Mark Dimmock joined NSW Arts Minister Don Harwin, Sydney Opera House CEO Louise Herron and The Australian Ballet Artistic Director David McAllister to present final plans for the multi-million dollar Renewal upgrade.
