Laing O'Rourke strengthens Clients & Markets leadership

Laing O’Rourke has appointed Ronan O’Rourke to its Europe Executive Committee (EEC) as the new Clients & Markets Director for its Europe Hub, effective 1 July 2026.

Ronan’s appointment enables John O’Connor, currently Group Commercial Director and Europe Hub Clients & Markets Director, to apply enhanced focus to his Group role, which will now be broadened to incorporate Clients & Markets globally within his portfolio.

As the strength of the orderbook increases across the Group, John will dedicate his attention and experience to the Group’s strategic priorities, including complex programmes like AUKUS, and other growth engines across both Hubs.
