Laing O’Rourke signs contract to deliver Hillingdon Hospital redevelopment

Laing O’Rourke has signed the contract for the redevelopment of Hillingdon Hospital in west London to deliver a new, state of the art hospital for patients and NHS staff.

This marks a significant milestone in the UK Government’s New Hospital Programme (NHP), one of the most ambitious healthcare infrastructure programmes in the UK, designed to transform how hospitals are planned, designed and delivered through close collaboration with NHS England, NHS Trusts, and the wider supply chain.

The next generation facility will be constructed on the current hospital site’s western edge and will provide new beds, enhanced working environments and supporting improved clinical outcomes.

Laing O’Rourke brings a strong track record in delivering complex healthcare infrastructure across the UK and will apply its expertise in digital engineering, offsite manufacturing and its integrated supply chain to support the programme’s objectives.
