Laing O’Rourke appoints new Director for Technical, Safety and Digital

Laing O’Rourke’s Group CEO Cathal O’Rourke and Europe Hub Managing Director Peter Lyons have today announced the appointment of Suria Jones as the Hub’s new Director for Technical, Safety and Digital.

A highly experienced structural engineer and industry leader, Suria brings 20 years’ experience spanning engineering strategy, delivery assurance and industrialised construction.

Since joining Laing O’Rourke in 2022, she has played an important role in shaping technical strategy across a number of major projects.

Her appointment comes as Laing O’Rourke continues to drive forward on its ambition to bring industrialised construction to life.
