Laing O’Rourke announces new leader for Expanded Geotechnical

Clare Rodgers has been appointed Business Unit Leader of Expanded Geotechnical, Managing Director of Laing O’Rourke’s Europe Hub Peter Lyons announced today.

Clare was most recently Lifting Solutions Leader for Select – part of Laing O’Rourke, having joined the business in 2021.

She will take responsibility for the Expanded Geotechnical business after Ronan O’Rourke was appointed Director of Clients & Markets for Laing O’Rourke’s Europe Hub.

She is the first female Business Unit Leader of any of Laing O’Rourke’s Specialist Trading Businesses.

Clare is a multiple Women in Construction & Engineering (WICE) award-winner including the most distinguished winner this year and holds an MBA from the University of East London.

Commenting on Clare’s appointment, Peter Lyons said:
