Discussing resilience and certainty through data with Dr Damien Buie
23.10.20Laing O’Rourke’s Group Technical Director, Dr Damien Buie will deliver this year’s prestigious JCT Povey Lecture on 18 November 2020.
The lecture, introduced by JCT chair, Richard Saxon CBE will set the scene of an industry on the cusp of change with digital technologies and modern methods of construction facilitating new ways of working.
In creating a more resilient sector that offers clients certainty, Damien will examine what needs to change and will discuss how harnessing the power of data can provide transparency and insight, as well as maximise standardisation of design, delivery, and contracting to eliminate needless complexity and risk.
