NSW Government appoints Laing O’Rourke to deliver a new footbridge at St Marys Station

Laing O’Rourke has been awarded a $82.5 million contract at St Marys Station by the New South Wales Government, to improve access to the station for thousands of commuters every day and provide connectivity for the future Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport line.

The scope comprises a new footbridge and concourse at the eastern end of St Marys Station including five lifts, four escalators and three sets of stairs. The bridge will connect the existing Sydney Trains station to the future Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport line.

The team will also construct new amenities for Sydney Trains station staff and carry out landscaping to create a new, inviting entrance to the northern side of the station through to Harris Street.

Laing O’Rourke is a trusted partner to the New South Wales Government, delivering upgrades to improve transport connectivity and accessibility at transport hubs across Sydney and infrastructure works to support delivery of the Sydney Metro network.
