Our vision for reconciliation is to see an industry based on shared knowledge, where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, cultures and voices are represented and embraced across Australia.

We will always be guided by our values of care, integrity and courage to build stronger relationships, foster a respectful work culture, and create new opportunities.

Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan

As a Reconciliation organisation and a leader in diversity and inclusion, Laing O'Rourke has a proud history of supporting the economic development and prosperity of Indigenous and underrepresented people, businesses and communities in which we operate.

At Laing O’Rourke Australia we accept the challenges and opportunities of Reconciliation and the work required. Our Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan provides clear direction and a delivery plan for our teams, as it includes our key deliverables, targets, initiatives and actions that we will integrate with the way we work.

Building on Country - our journey working together for communities

Building on Country is a publication dedicated to sharing the initiatives, partnerships, and outcomes that reflect our ongoing commitment to meaningful engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. It is also a platform to recognise and celebrate the communities, cultures, and knowledge systems that continue to guide our reconciliation journey.

Published twice a year, Building on Country brings together perspectives from across our business and network. It helps us highlight the value we see in long-term collaboration, while creating space to deepen understanding and continue learning together.
