Full project details
A sea view for all residents – five structures rise above the ocean to form a community focal point for the Al Raha Beach development.
A neighbourhood of waterfront luxury
Al Bandar, which means 'haven' in Arabic, consists of three high-quality residences: Al Barza, Al Manara and Al Naseem. The striking design resembles cruise liners that extend into the Arabian Gulf, and features over 511 lavish apartments – all nestled into a picturesque island setting, accessible by bridge to the mainland.
Revolutionary levels of quality
We used concrete post-tensioned frame for the residential buildings, as well as stick system cladding with full terrace balconies. Our expertise in offsite manufacture meant we were able to produce kitchen modules of an unprecedented high quality, ready for a swift installation on site. We achieved a peak handover rate of an impressive 42 units per week.
Groundbreaking health and safety performance
Our 18,000 operatives worked over 10 million hours without a reportable lost time incident, setting a benchmark for all subsequent projects in the region. To celebrate, we held a special presentation and rewarded every member of our workforce.
Al Barza – flexible living spaces
With a flexible, open-plan gallery feel, each apartment inspires artistic interior design and allows residents to create a unique, tailored environment.
Al Manara – spacious and light with 360° views
Reflecting the sky above and the water below from their glass exterior, these apartments are open plan with high-quality fittings. Balconies enhance each floor, offering 360° views and an abundance of light.
Al Naseem – rippling glass facades
Rippling reflective facades and translucent balconies encase these three glass-sided buildings. With stone tile flooring and natural lighting, quality radiates from every angle.
