What does the programme involve?
Our four-year ‘Apprenticeship Plus’ scheme was developed in conjunction with ConstructionSkills. As a participant you will benefit from a formal college education, leading to a Level 3 NVQ. You will also receive substantial on-the-job training, with support and advice from experienced tradespeople and construction professionals. A dedicated mentor will work closely with you and your college, while providing regular feedback on your development. Apprentices will also attend two off-site modules per year, which are designed to help you build skills outside of your chosen trade and – should you wish to - progress towards a supervisory or management role.
Who is eligible?
Ideally you will have achieved 3 GCSEs (preferably grades A-C) or have a minimum of six months work experience within the construction industry. Successful candidates must also be willing to work away from home during study periods, and as work requires.
