Roger Robinson is chief executive officer of Laing O’Rourke’s European operations, and is a member of the Group executive committee.  In his role Roger has a broad executive remit covering strategic business development and operational management across the Group’s largest and most complex project delivery activities.

Prior to joining Laing O’Rourke Roger was Executive Director for Construction Services of Carillion plc. He joined Tarmac in 1989 and was responsible at various times for their civil engineering, rail and M&E businesses. He was also a main board member of Carillion plc following its demerger from Tarmac.

He is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, and has worked for major contractors throughout his career.
