Mike is the Managing Director of Laing O’Rourke Hong Kong and brings over 25 years of heavy civil engineering and complex construction experience to his role on the Australian hub board.

He has held a series of senior executive positions leading Laing O’Rourke’s core construction and infrastructure delivery businesses.

His focus on design for ‘buildability’ and quality delivery are industry-renowned.

Mike has worked directly for some of the world's most challenging and complex transport infrastructure projects including London's Heathrow Terminal 5, where he was responsible for pioneering a ‘lean’ approach to heavy civil construction, which set a new benchmark in the efficiency of construction logistics in heavily congested, densely-urbanised sites.
