Andrew is Managing Director of Laing O’Rourke Canada and brings over 20 years of experience in the industry. Having joined Laing O’Rourke in 1988 as an Articled Pupil in the Commercial Department Andrew was appointed at the age of 34 to the role of Operations Director Designate for the UK’s Northern business. 

In 2008 Andrew was appointed Business Unit Leader of Laing O’Rourke’s Scottish business before going on to take additional leadership of England’s northern business. 

Andrew has extensive experience in the design development process and cost and risk management which has given him a deep understanding of the complexities of the construction industry.  He knows where traditional solutions apply, yet he has the foresight to recognise emerging technologies and approaches.
