Explore Manufacturing provides a unique self-delivery capability that leads the construction industry in driving greater levels of design standardisation and construction quality into a project. With an international manufacturing capability, our offsite operations utilise lean automation processes together with quality assurance systems.

At the heart of our commitment to offsite manufacturing sits the Explore Industrial Park, Steetley, the most advanced facility of its type in Europe. The precast concrete facility, which began production in July 2009, manufactures a range of products including walls, floors, columns and beams for our projects throughout the UK. Using offsite manufacturing means that we’re delivering precast and preassembled products and materials to the time, cost and quality standards demanded by our clients.

The Explore Industrial Park complements our existing international offsite solution providers, which include Crown House Technologies Offsite, producing mechanical and electrical units; Modulor in Dubai, making fully finished bathroom pods; and Redispan and Austrak in Australia, manufacturing, among their extensive component sets, conveyor systems and concrete railway sleepers.
